ResQte Of The Week (Black Friday Night Edition)

IMG_20141126_152612_310Look at this little face. (AND the Peeping Tongue.) And wait ’til you read the story that came along with the photo.

“To the Internet’s finest purveyors of The Cute: This is a photo of Cooper. I adopted Cooper this week. He was found as a stray wandering alone, had fleas, no tags and super skinny. He also had worms :-(. It saddens me to think about this sweet little 5 lb. pup scavenging for food and fending for himself outdoors. It’s seems a miracle that he wasn’t snatched up by a hawk. He is a very smart and sweet dog. We think he’s about 4yrs old. He’s had a rough go of it the past few weeks but I think he’s settling in nicely. I took this picture of him. I love this website so much.” -Julie H.

image“Ok, so it’s a Snout, but Tilley Tiny Pig would like to be considered for Nosevember. Tilley is applying Rule Of Cuteness #95 for good measure. Thanks, Elaine R.”

Pygmy Marmoset Alert!!

[Pre-Emptive Nuffer Disclaimer: This little dude is a resident of the Rare Species Conservatory Foundation- not a pet in someone’s home. -Ed.]

Rule of Cuteness #45 says, “Any animal with the word ‘pygmy’ in it is Cute.”

Make it so, Number One.

Nosevember In Switzerland

1465952_10151684525457687_1213329875_oYesterday it was Caturday Morning in Portugal and Caturday Night in France, so today, why not have a Nosevember feature from Switzerland?

C.O.’s reach is GLOBAL, we tells ya.

So, how ’bout this kitteh, Meghan B? “This is Dulcinea Princessa Pequeña Rodriguez, or Dulci for short. I adopted her in 2001 from The Seattle Animal Shelter and we are now living the sweet life in Lugano, Switzerland. She enjoys nature programs, snacks of prosciutto, and lounging in her fancy basket. I hope you enjoy her freckled Nose and Super Calico Action as much as I do!”

Caturday Morning: “I Came Home To Find Daphne Like This”

unnamedThat was the subject line of Carolyn H.’s email- with the above photo a classic example of Rule Of Cuteness #40: “Sleeping in a sunbeam is Cute.”

[And who are we to argue? It’s our Rule! -Ed.]

Yes, That One’s Juicy, You Betcha

unnamedClassic Example of Rule of Cuteness #13: “Juicy” eyes & noses are Cute. “Here’s a photo of my cuddle cat, Circe, showing off the cute Maru-like freckle on her nose!” -Nancy K.

ResQte Of The Week (Wednesday PM Edition:) Tino

This first Floppy Eared Photo just keeled me DED DED DED so it’s not gonna wait ’til tomorrow. “This dusky little schnozz belongs to Valentino (AKA ‘Tino’), my 11-month old rescue,” writes Erica P.

Tino Smile
“He’s 16 pounds of long sproingy legs and, as you can see in the above picture, he is an ecstatically happy puppeh. Tino’s favorite things are: (1) Snorgling Oscar, my elderly gentleman of a cat…”

Tino and Oscar
“..(2) Running at the speed of light, and (3) Leaping over tall buildings (or at least over the extra tall baby gate I installed in hopes of giving Oscar a breather.)”
