Updated! Almost Time For Howl ~O~ Ween!

Just got an email from Cuteporter Sian B., and this Little Cutee was included! “Hi C.O., Long-time C.O. fan here, hoping to brighten your day. Please see the attached pictures of a 3.5 week old puppy called Starfire having a little go at howling, and her inquisitive little face in the Pre-Howl picture included.”

“Starfire and her 13 siblings were orphaned at a day old and are being hand-reared by some very wonderful foster carers for Jerry Green Dog Rescue in the UK. After a rocky first couple of weeks, all 14 puppies are happy, fat little dumplings who are loving learning about life!”

SIAN B. UPDATE!
“Just to clarify and reassure the concerned commenters; the puppies weren’t orphaned because mum passed away, rather she was very unwell and needed a caesarian. She wasn’t well enough to care for the puplets, so they had to go into foster care. Mum has now made a full recovery and will hopefully be finding her own new home soon!”

And WHY Do We Call It “Toesday,” Marcel? (Part II)

Dr. Kimberly H., DVM checked in with us a few weeks ago to tell us about “Marcel,” a teeny kitteh she rescued.

Today, Kim provides us with an update! “He is growing every day! He likes to hide in pockets (as you can see,) and he also has started hunting and growling at his toys and is generally a rambunctious, Fun Little Guy. He gets his first set of vaccines this week, then hopefully he will be off to his forever home!”

‘Tocktober: Say Hi To The Noodle!

Noodle_Tock1Zlata & Don sent us several photos of her Little Man Noodle. WITH ROC #47 added for More Value: “Splayed haunch action is cute.”

[Just to let you know, you’re gonna see more of The Noodster on Nosevember 1st. An absolute promise. -Ed.]

Z & D, wassup? “Hi guys! Here are some photos of our Shih Tzu, Noodle. We rescued him from a shelter last year and we think he’s pretty cute :). This started off as a mission to find a good ‘Tocktober contender, so we got a couple of those. And then we found a few good Nosevember ones too! Hope you find Noodle cute and choose one of these for your site.”

Spend Your Caturday Morning With Mr. Fluffypants!

Mr. FluffypantsDon’r you just loff eet when outta nowhere, cats decide to take over your entire existence bond with you? Take Stephanie, for example.

“This is Mr. Fluffypants, a cat I started feeding in the spring. When I first saw him, he was so thin I could see his hip bones and he had large bare patches of skin. Now he’s a big fat Floofball who comes for breakfast and dinner every day. He’s not adoptable but he’ll have a shelter on my patio for the winter and will continue to eat well. I love how the smudges on his front legs match up! Thanks for making every day a little brighter!” -Stephanie F., Albany NY.

[When asked to comment on his name and how he got it, Mr. FP just turned and sauntered off. As he should. -Ed.]

Hi Guys, Meet Chloe THE WOMBAT

“This ADORABLE kitten was found running along a very busy road with a broken leg, and some super nice people were able to catch him and bring him to the no-kill shelter where I volunteer in Grayslake, IL.,” says Andi M. “Meet Super Cute Kitteh, Vodun!”

unnamed (1)
“Luckily, even though his leg was broken in two places, he’s expected to make a full recovery!”

Toesday Fennec Action Right Here!

fennec10Don’t come across too many Fennec Fox Fotos, but when Tammy L. sent these in, our in-box blew up with The Cute.

fennec8
“The place where I volunteer, the Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar, CA, recently received 2 baby Fennec Foxes,” she told us.

fennec1
“They are a non-profit sanctuary for many animals that cannot be released into the wild for a variety of reasons.”

fennec7
“Here are a few pics I snapped when we first got them.”

fennec9
“Their names are Sahara and Morocco…”

fennec2
“…though it’s hard to tell which is which in these!”
