Congrats To The Class Of 2014!

Earlier in the year, the New York ASPCA opened up a specialized nursery for Leetle Kittehs that were too young to make it on their own. On Tuesday, they held a graduation ceremony for the furrballs, who now move on to the ASPCA Adoption Center where they’ll be ready to go to a new home! Wanna donate to the ASPCA? Here’s how.

And BTW- do we know who graduated Phi Beta Catta?

Last Caturday In ‘Tocktober!

IMG_6233So let’s make it a great one! “Hi there. Here is my Tock-tober submission,” says Rachel R. “I’ve been following C.O. for a while (it’s the first thing I look at every morning!) and thought this would be the purrrr-fect opportunity to introduce my kitties, Mr. Willy (L) and Ms. Billy June. I rescued them together because they wouldn’t leave each other’s sides at the shelter. As you can see are inseparable. I would be so excited to see them on C.O.!”

Updated! Almost Time For Howl ~O~ Ween!

Just got an email from Cuteporter Sian B., and this Little Cutee was included! “Hi C.O., Long-time C.O. fan here, hoping to brighten your day. Please see the attached pictures of a 3.5 week old puppy called Starfire having a little go at howling, and her inquisitive little face in the Pre-Howl picture included.”

“Starfire and her 13 siblings were orphaned at a day old and are being hand-reared by some very wonderful foster carers for Jerry Green Dog Rescue in the UK. After a rocky first couple of weeks, all 14 puppies are happy, fat little dumplings who are loving learning about life!”

SIAN B. UPDATE!
“Just to clarify and reassure the concerned commenters; the puppies weren’t orphaned because mum passed away, rather she was very unwell and needed a caesarian. She wasn’t well enough to care for the puplets, so they had to go into foster care. Mum has now made a full recovery and will hopefully be finding her own new home soon!”

And WHY Do We Call It “Toesday,” Marcel? (Part II)

Dr. Kimberly H., DVM checked in with us a few weeks ago to tell us about “Marcel,” a teeny kitteh she rescued.

Today, Kim provides us with an update! “He is growing every day! He likes to hide in pockets (as you can see,) and he also has started hunting and growling at his toys and is generally a rambunctious, Fun Little Guy. He gets his first set of vaccines this week, then hopefully he will be off to his forever home!”
