In the Poll we started earlier today to determine The Best Name Ever, we forgot to include Magilla Glub Glub, and Ellen W. helpfully mentioned this. So we thought we’d look for some MGG action, since we haven’t heard from his hoomins in a spell. Images from the MGG FB.
Magilla Glub Glub says he don’t need no stinkin’ tinted kitteh contact lenses. (Are there such a thing? And how about that Ear Floof?)
AND…a bonus video! MGG- drinking water. And drinking. And drinking…
The Easter Bun had an assistant in Rwanda, and his name is Magilla Glub Glub!
“There isn’t a place in Rwanda that sells bunny ears, those are homemade. Adds to the “charm.” -Bethany H.
[This concludes Easter BunDay here at C.O. Thanks to all who sent in photos! -Ed.]
None other than Cute Overload Fave Kitteh Magilla Glub Glub. How ’bout some early vintage Glubster photos? Yeah? U want? OK.
These are a few of my favorite things.
“We just decorated our house yesterday, so we’re starting to get some holiday shots. Magilla Glub Glub immediately found his place under the tree. Best to you – and hope you are jolly!” -Bethany H.
“Here’s a photo of Lady Bubbles eating some hamburger for Photo Assignment 6. Hamburger is about 1/3 the price of cat food in Rwanda and our cats like it at least 3 times as much, so they get it often. Bubbles had a hard time posing for the camera and eating, so food kept falling out of her mouth. She made sure to eat it all though.”
From Rwandan Correspondent Nathan G.
CO Rwandan Korrespondant Nathan G. sent us some photos of our two fave Kigali Kittehs, Magilla Glub Glub & sidekick Bubbles. “Attached are pictures of Glub Glub and Bubbles from Halloween. We celebrated Halloween early at our house and had a day full of pumpkin carving and trying on Halloween costumes.”
“Bubbles loved her punk rocker ballerina costume (black and pink with a rhinestone skull on back) and we haven’t been able to get her out of it since.”
“Glub Glub couldn’t decide which costume he liked more, sophisticated cat with a bow tie, or scary witch with green hair, so we took photos of each.” [UPDATE from Mrs. Nathan G.: that IS, in fact, Bubbles.]
Last month’s Magilla Glub Glub update introduced us to Lady Bubbles. Which means, naturally, we needed MORE photos of LB, STAT!
“I wanted to pass along some more Lady Bubbles photos. She has completely won us (and GG) over! Her and Glub Glub are fast friends – she even has convinced him to share his basket. Of course, there isn’t really room for the two of them, but somehow, she always finds space. Thanks for keeping it cute!” -Rwanda Cuteporter Bethany H., on the scene.
“My husband Nathan has been sending updates on Magilla Glub Glub, our sweet kitteh in Kigali. We love him so, and Nathan has been the best poppa. From kitten days to now as a full grown kitty, they are best buds. Happy Father’s Day to all dads, but especially MGG’s
human hoomin, Nathan G.!” -From Cuteporter Bethany H.
Late Breaking Email Just In From Kigali!
This photo literally just arrived from way ovah theayah. That’s MGG WITH HIS NEW LITTLE SISTER. Wait ’til you hear her name; more on these guys soon. (This is what’s known as a “tease.”)
Whadya do in Kigali, Rwanda of all places…when the lights go out?
You eat meatballs! Just like Magilla Glub Glub.
“MGG and I made this video last night. Our power was out and my wife was in the U.S. so we were left to entertain ourselves. Glub Glub really likes eating meatballs, so we decided to see how many he could eat in 60 seconds. I think he does pretty well for his first try. He promises to eat more the next time he gets a chance.” -Hoomin Nathan G.
