Meet The Dibblers

Before I saw this on ZooBorns, I thought that perhaps “Quokka” was the funniest animal name. But that was before..

The Dibbler.

Or, in the case of this first photo, a Stack O’ Dibblers. ZB says The Dibbler is “an endangered carnivorous marsupial.”

The Perth Zoo bred some Dibblers and then “released them to a fenced area at Whiteman Park, giving them a chance to establish in the absence of foxes and cats, which have likely contributed to their decline in the wild.”
