Let’s See MARU Do THIS

Well all know about The Circle’s fondness for boxes of all shapes and sizes- but has he ever tried a Cone Of Shame before, like this intrepid kitteh?

Conehead

The Cone Of Shame is well-known to kittehs, puppehs and hoomins alike. This kitteh knows her hoomins have done this to her deliberately as a way to shame her- but has come up with a new way to use The Cone to his/her advantage while plotting the appropriate retaliation.

♬ You’ve Got A Friend In Me ♫

You’ve got a friend in me
You’ve got a friend in me
When the road looks rough ahead
And you’re miles and miles from your nice warm bed
You just remember what your old pal said
Boy you’ve got a friend in me
Yeah you’ve got a friend in me..

(Song from Toy Story by Randy Newman; story from Bored Panda.)

Le Grand Bernard

“Here is the photo of Bernard, the Cute/Sad French Bulldog I submitted last week – in a larger file size! As noted before, this little tyke was sidelined with a broken leg, and his pathetic gaze conveys it all. But, being a spotted French Bulldog pup, he is extremely adorable even in his pathetic state. My friend Sally took this photo of him, and would love to share it with the larger Cute Overload audience! C.O. fan as always, Deb S.”

The photos are meant to convey the emotion felt when a puppeh has to wear The Cone Of Shame.

I’d say he captured it pretty well. The cat (featured photo above) seems to enjoy it all, too. Imagine that.

Headline THIS: “Mothership, Commence Laser Targeting Sequence On My Mark…”

(*Update, 1:05pm PT: Thanks to Kathy_A!)

Look of Disapproval, Impending Doom, there are so many tags to put on this one. But what about a headline? Write yours in the comments section and we’ll update the headline with our fave around 1pm PT. “This is Ripley. She had an op to remove a reoccurring lump from her one of her teats. Thankfully, it came back negative 🙂 for cancer. Suffice to say, she hates the cone, but deep down I’m sure she knows it’s all for the best. One more week and it’s removed!” -Ellie K.

Batcone of Shame!

I am the darkness…
I am the night…
I am… so going to scratch whoever did this to my cone.

This is Alexandria, and according to her human, she’s all better now.

Hootie Meets The Printer

“Hi Cute Overload, Hootie had the pleasure of having to wear The Cone Of Shame for a while. We had fun with it and took his photo and said he was undergoing “Astronaut Training.” Thank you for considering Hootie for C.O., we love him! Everywhere we go, people say he is super Cute! Best, Karla M.”
