We Bow Again To Japan (彼らは再びそれをやった)

[This post is about KITTEH and PUPPEH DONUTS. We suggest being seated when watching. That way you're closer to the ground when you PLOP over DED. Let's begin. -Ed]

Cuteporter Wendy M. sent this video to us. She found it on FreeKibbleKat.com*, (“Got this video from these lovely people. They deserve all the support they can get”) who found it on the We Heart Pets blog. Got that sequence straight? Right. Ready?

Naturally, there’s MORE Japanese QTE Craziness, like Kiiroitori Ice Cream….

Rilakkuma Ice Cream…

…and in the Non-Edible Department, we got your Kutsuwa Kawaii Pencil Cap Erasers WHAT.

[And your usual RocketNews24 fixation wasn't even involved in this post ~ *Snerk* -Ed]

[Here's Google Translate if you wanna run that header through. -Ed]

*Their slogan: “Every dog and cat deserves a decent dinner.” Best slogan ever.

We KNOW Who Started This Trend

Thanks to Cuteporter Andrew Y. who continuously has his finger on the pulse of Japan’s RocketNews24. We have this selection of cats.

In boxes.

I Can Has Wiper?

Mei is DETERMINED to get her paws on THESE DREADED WIPERS! Japan FTW, once again!

Mei likes going to the gas station, too. She appreciates the full service! (Does Mei have her own book deal, too?)

Spotted on DP&F.

Hmmm..Ten Hour Flight From SFO To Chiba..

If you happen to be in the neighborhood of the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba, Japan- don’t miss Interpets, an “International Fair for a Better Life with Pets.” It’s on now through the 25th. Check out 238 exhibitors in Halls 7 & 8 from 13 countries and regions!

Here We Go Again

“I was at a department store in Japan when they had a special on Animal Chocolates and the chef was there demonstrating her skill. You can pick 5 animals for about $15. I took a picture of a display showing cats. Too cute to eat! Thought I’d submit the photos after seeing Cat Donuts.” -Cuteporter Katy G., Huntington Beach, CA.

Is The 10:15 Running Late, Tama?

Japan is just piling on at this point.

“Please, please consider adding this to the Japan Cute Assault arsenal: Tama the cat saved the train line AND spawned a cat-themed train!” -Amy H.

We featured Tama several years back. Tama is “Super Station Master and Operating Officer at Kishi Station in Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.” From FB.

Nuts, the plush Tama stuffies are out of stock. Maybe you’d like the book instead? (Of course there’s a book.)

Did U Say Cat Donuts? Really?

Dear Diary: The month-long Japanese Cute Assault continues. On my knees. First it was these these marching critters. And the otters shaking hands. Next, the Pokemon Cars. Yesterday, I thought the Cat Marshmallows did me in. Then they hit me with the Hamster Ninja House. Finally gathered the strength to get out of bed and I immediately get whacked with…

Cat Donuts.

Design Taxi gets the blame thanks for this..apparently based on the TV series “One Nya Hup.”

1

Quoting Gizmodiva: “The One Nya Hup inspired cat donuts will be released for purchase in mid-August 2013. They will sell for a limited period from August 15, at 109 ABENO SBY Shibuya 109, SBY SHIBUYA. Each one of these ‘pets’ will retail for 200 yen (approximately $2).”

That’s IT – Moving To Tokyo – SEEYA!

MORE from JP? We just had marshmallows, and now—a NINJA HAMSTER HOUSE!!!! Can’t..take..much more of…this. Is RocketNews24 hiring?

[Memo to self- call agent. Wait, I have no agent. Disregard.]

And what the heck, let’s toss another log onto the fire. DED. (clunk.)

Cuteporter Andrew Y. FTW.

マシュマロの狂気 (Marshmallow Madness)

In the grand tradition of, um, this post, the great folks from The Far East are handing us our asses heads on a QTE plate.

Again.

We saw this once before, but not to this degree. Check the detailed hovers c/o RocketNews24. The company that makes these is called Yawahada- their FB is here. RN24 says they only ship inside Japan- but maybe if you contact them and whine a lot, they might change their minds. The FB page says “We are working on enabling international shipping and hope to make a good announcement to you in the near future.”

Now For Something TOTALLY Different

Normally, automobiles don’t make it onto Cute Overload. But since these made my head explode, what the heck. #Japanisonarollthisweek.
