Caturday: Hey!

Something is clearly on this fellow’s mind, and he’d like to talk to you about it.

Caturday: Did U Ever Know U Were My Hero?

1912553_655833834471994_7563312329536825942_oHave you seen this video? For some reason, a dog decides to sneak-attack 4 year old Jeremy Triantafilo on a bike, and Tara The Hero Cat comes to his rescue! (Note: some injury photos at :46, FYI.)

Tara’s got her own FB page where U can learn more- and she’s even (somehow) throwing out the first pitch at a Bakersfield Blaze minor league baseball game Tuesday night!

Caturday: “Hey There, There Goes The Spidercat…”

In the chill of night
At the scene of a crime
Like a streak of light
He arrives just in time.

You’re Staring At Them, Aren’t U

From Leslie U., who posted this on the Cute Overload Facebook page:

“I live on an Alpaca Ranch and take loads of videos and pictures of the Bebeh Alpacas…you are more than welcome to scour my page if you would like, and I’d be honored and thrilled if you use my stuff.”

Lives..ON…an ALPACA RANCH. Takes PHOTOS…of Bebeh Alpacas.

Everyone Flocks To Japan

We’ve seen all kinds of specialized cafes in The Big J. Kittehs, of course. Owls, and even Penguins, too. Now Robb S. brings a “Small Bird Cafe” to our attention. It’s called the Kotori Cafe, on Omotesandō Street.

(In the area? It’s right here.)

According to Where In, “This unusual cafe is populated by parrots, parakeets, sparrows and cockatoos for your bird-watching enjoyment. After you’ve finished your coffee or tea you can spend five minutes in the interactive zone at the back of the cafe. There, a staff member will apply disinfectant to your hands, and show you (in Japanese) how to handle and gently play with the resident birds without getting bitten.”

Pair Of Bebeh Knobbulars!

Meece? Mooses? What’s the right term? Either way, these Knobbulars are Full Of Win!

Huh? Whazzat? Yeah, OK….

….I GUESS I’ll eat THAT! Om nom nom.

Flashback Friday

Let’s do the Time Warp again! We’ve got a beehive hairdo, kitch, schmaltz, cheesy xylophone, AND an old-timey newsreel narrator! But wait, there’s also cats so that makes it all better.
It’s just a jump to the left:

And then a step to the right:

Thank You, Brinke and thank YouTube.

C.O. Classifieds: Panda Caretaker WANTED

Panda Sanctuary and Research Center desires someone to snorgle Pandas. Free room and board. Salary 32K/200,000 yuan/yr. Free SUV to drive. Must be at least 22 and in good physical shape. Must love pandas. Oh yes, position is in China.

We’re not kidding, guys. NBC News says “China’s Giant Panda Protection and Research Center in Ya’an, Sichuan province just announced a competition for a one-year job as a “Panda Caretaker.” Eight runners-up win a three-day trip to panda-watch at the reserve. China Daily helpfully notes, “Your work has only one mission: spending 365 days with the pandas and sharing in their joys and sorrows.”

Sorrows? With a fleet of Pandas? Impossible.

I’m in. Who’s with me? The application is somewhere on this site.

Thanks to The Furrtographer for the teep.
