Welcome to the world, B326 and B327! Ranger Kate with the Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area explains “our biologists recently ear-tagged these adorable 3-4-week-old bobcat kittens..[*Note: Bobkittens? -Ed.]..as part of our nearly 20-year-long study of how urbanization has affected bobcats in the Santa Monica Mountains and surrounding area.”
“We’ve been tracking the mom, B255, since 2010 and tagged her kittens while she was away from the den.”

(From the DP&F YT Channel.)
That was the title of the email Carol sent to us- now, we’ve already got “Wombat Wednesday” booked- but maybe we can toss in a Wet Nose on Wednesdays- if someone sends us one, of course. After all—remember Rule of Cuteness #13: “Juicy” Eyes And Noses Are Cute. This is Belle, BTW.
Lean on me, when you’re not strong…and I’ll be your friend.
I’ll help you carry on. For, it won’t be long…’til I’m gonna need…somebody to lean on.

JUST IN from Jessica Lessard: “Hey there, a few weeks ago we discovered a stray mama cat and NINE littles just a day or two after they were born, hiding out in our carport on our farm. We rushed them to the Cat House on the Kings where they were taken in and given a nice safe and quiet place to eat and rest. They will be available for adoption in a few month’s time!”
