“Must. Find. Cuteness.”

So says Joey. We know the feeling, Joey!

“I feel famous. After my coatimundi submission was accepted I now feel like I have a goal in life. Must. Find. Cuteness. I happened to go to work and found this guy hopping around our restaurant patio in a very non-wooded city area. I found its nest and returned it. After I took some pics of its adorableness that is.” -Joey (short for Josephine.)

Cat Overload

Cats are everywhere, so you might as well stay right here – no need to go anywhere else. We are all stocked up. All the cats you ever need each day for the rest of your life!

“Leopold is getting into trouble. He did this even though he had a full bowl of food on the floor just under the food shelf.” -Brandy M. on Facebook.
“Margarida (portuguese for Daisy) was rescued and is now waiting very cutely for someone to adopt her. She and her three sisters were found with only 4 days of life. Sadly she is the only survivor after a very critical period of treatment. But she is a fighter! A little flower that, thanks to Marcelo K. and Camila C., will bloom to a beautiful and happy life. They are from Novo Hamburgo, Brazil.” -Suzan A.

“This is the newest addition to our household, Wendell. He is about a year old and was adopted from the Missouri Humane Society. Wendell is a wild one and has a destructive streak. This photo amuses me because he looks like he’s observing destruction-aftermath!” -Amy G.

“In the early hours of the morning on March 4, 2014, 18-year-old Noorjahan, one of Twycross Zoo’s four Asian Elephants, gave birth to a healthy female calf after a hefty 22-month long pregnancy! The young calf has yet to receive a name, but is now on view to the public with the rest of the elephant herd.” Via Zooborns.

What’s in a Name?

“”Chewie” (we have a Star Wars theme going…). When he starts to gnaw on things (or people), we say, “Chewie no chewing!” Taken with an iPhone, by “me.” -Jason W.

“This is my brother’s cat, real name, “Buddy”. *I* call him Mr. Kittypants, because I think that’s his true name. This picture is him indicating that I’m clearly not paying enough attention to him. Also, here’s a link to all of my pics of him, since a good auntie takes tons!” -Carrie.

“Hi Cute Overload! I just adopted a kitten from the Windsor-Essex Humane Society. I think he is just the cutest thing ever. I named him George Michael (as in Michael Cera’s character from Arrested Development). He is the love of my life!” -Vanessa from Canada.

“This is my 8 wk. old kitten, Zuko (named after ‘Grease’ character Danny Zuko), showing you his toe beans. He hopes you like them enough to put them on your website. -Holly J. (long-time fan of CO!)”
