Ridiculous tree sweater

There is simply no category for this post. Introducing the tree sweater by Erika. It’s completely redonk and so funny. This poor little tree outside Erika’s house needed some love, so she knit it a sweater. (Natch.) Here’s more to the story.

Sender-inner Jessica L. writes: “Okay, here’s a strange one for you. But every time I look at these pictures I think how cute it is, so I thought I’d send it on in. It is a turkey made out of a pine cone who has clearly befriended a sprouted onion. Seriously, check it out. Or maybe I’m just strange.”

[shifty eyes] Thanks… [looks over shoulder]

Oh hey, I found the onions.

Yeah, it’s strange. But in a good butter duck or tree sweater way.

Behold a gaggle of color-coded Peeps riding multi-colored horses.

Even stranger is the text accompanying the submission: “These little guys deserve fun too.”

Um. OK. [shifty eyes in disbelief]

Or- consider ’em New Year’s presents, right? They make great gifts- but don’t take our word for it- these comments are from Amazon buyers! (Just like you.)

“This is exactly what we were looking for, and it’s perfect.”

“Where are these adorable animal pictures found!? We look forward to the calendar every year.”

“I especially love the picture in December of a guinea pig wearing a sweater I knitted!”

Click either of the small calendar images to go straight to Amazon- hurry, operators are standing by!

Reindog IX: Chico

Don’t think Chico would be able to crank up enough horsepower to lead Santa’s team on the 24th- but he darn sure can be Santa’s co-pilot! “This is Chico who looks forlorn and confused because I’m making him wear this reindeer/antler polar fleece lined sweater and it’s so warm outside that we have the windows open. It’s tough being a dog. (And below is Pancho, who is not too sure about the Christmas tree.”) -Julie H.

Dear Santa:

I’ve been a Good Little Frenchie this year. I supervised all of the kitchen activities and I made sure the cat next door got plenty of exercise.

Here’s hoping there’s a few bones under the tree for me tonight!

Merry Christmas!
