Rats, It’s Monday

[Lookit! Santa has ALREADY been here! He left this in my stocking! OK, not really. That’s not for a couple more weeks or so. But this is alllllll mine! Unless you want some in which case I will share!] (Cutest Paw.)

  1. What a wonderful picture! I love the expression with the little o mouth. “Ohhhh, look what I found! Is this for me? May I have it?” So sweet!

  2. These pics on Monday are really making me like Mondays =D

  3. And that, my friends, is the true spirit of Christmas – the joy, the sharing, the qte. 🙂

  4. Such a cute expression on an adorable face. I look forward to Mondays, now.

  5. That is just too cute! Love the hat with ears poking out, little paws and the expression of joy! My only question: how in the world do people get their rats to pose for pictures? Is there some mysterious secret I haven’t yet learned? In any case, I wish this little rattie (and all animals) the happiest of Christmases.

  6. Mr. Mousie: “Oh, yea! Merry Christmas to me!”

  7. The whiskers, people, THE WHISKERS!! All 360 degrees of them!

  8. grytlappar says:

As a cat servant, I’m really jealous of how people who non-cat pets can make these delightful xmas photos without it being just an angry blur of clothing/props are being torn off.

  9. I hope to someday be as happy as this little guy is in this picture.

  10. Blue Footed Booby says:

I think it depends on the cat.

  11. St. Nick brought that on Saturday night! If you grew up in a largely German community like I did, you know about St. Nick — and he ALWAYS leaves an orange in the toe of your stocking. Usually some walnuts and a peppermint candy cane too. Maybe a little toy or coloring book. Of course, if you were naughty, then it’s a lump of coal for you.

  12. As another cat-servant, I’ve never had the nerve to even try putting costumes on my feline overlords/ladies. I bleed too easily.

  13. Ratty is so darned cute. What’s not to love???
