  1. (You must extend the ug sound of bug appropriately to the tune of Sir Elton John’s Tocket Man to make the correct number of syllables) (And I had to leave in my miss-type of Rocket Man due to its appropriateness :- )

    Go jet propulsion
    A rocket bu-u-u-ug
    Lady rocket bug

    I love this place

  2. I packed my bags last night, bug-flight
    Zero hour, cute-o-load
    And I’m gonna fly high
    As a lady bug then

I missed that aphid lunch, I missed the meal
    It’s lonely here so cute
    On such an awesome flight

And I think it’s going to be a long, long time
‘Till Tocktober brings me ’round again to find
I’m not the bug they think I am at all
    Oh, no no no
    I’m a Tocket bug
    Tocket bug
Flying by jet propulsion here on Cute

Mars ain’t the kind of place to raise your larva
In fact it’s got no food
And there’s no one here to see
    How cute they are

And all the science I don’t understand
Shoot fire out of my tock, to fly about
    A rocket bug
    Rocket bug

And I think it’s going to be a long, long time
‘Till Tocktober brings me ’round again to find
I’m not the bug they think I am at all
    Oh, no no no
    I’m a Tocket bug
    Tocket bug

My apologies to Sir Elton John. I couldn’t help myself. I love you man.

  3. Aaaaand I missed the two rocket bugs that should be Tocket bugs. Shaking fist at auto correct!

Permission is granted to fix it and erase this comment. 😉

  4. Good to know I’m not the only one who thought that lady bug looked jet-propelled!

  5. Never seen you shine so bright,
    Looking so gorgeous,
    As you did tonight

  6. Haha…Your comment should be entered into the commentary hall of fame. Love it!

  7. Yep. “Tocket” propelled ladybugs are a “go”, Houston! 🙂

  8. It would be really cool to see a bunch of these little guys jetting around in the twilight of a warm summers evening.
I wonder if Japan is working on breeding these?

  9. @Haha – well done!!
