‘Member How The Koalas Needed Mittens?

Well, we’ve got an update to that story. The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) has LOTS of mittens now! Now, they’re in need of something else. Kangaroos, possums and wallabies have sadly been orphaned by the Australian fires, and these little dudes need to be kept warm and safe in a little pouch. Click on the image, and it’ll pull up this image in a more detailed PDF. (Have a hard time figuring out metric conversions? Like..everyone else? Noooo problem. There’s a site for that!)

  1. Once the pouches are made, I’d also like to volunteer to carry around the kangaroo-, possum- & wallaby-stuffed pouches.

  2. Google will also do conversions for you. Just put (for example) “47cm to in” in the search field and it will return 18.5in. Works for just about any unit from any system you can think of.

  3. rqt seamstresses have big <3's

  4. That beady eye factor is just killingme.

  5. I brin a dozen grocery bags in from the car all at once so I’m sure I could carry at least a dozen these. (Nice follow-up C.O.!)
