Neema, Jake, And Ella’s Bathtub Selfies

Cuteporter Regula E. checking in on a Wednesday night: “I’m submitting some photos of our cats past and present. We had two long-haired kitties for many years, Fritzi & Ella. Both were rescued as kittens from a Louisiana animal shelter. We lost Fritzi in September 2012, and Ella (below) in September of 2013.”

“After a couple of months we took the trip to the Chicago Anti-Cruelty Society where we came home with Neema (black and white short-hair) and Jake (orange tabby.) This photo is of them attempting to use Jedi mind tricks to get me to put more food in their bowls.”

  1. Use the scoop, Luke.

  2. Obviously you’re doing something wrong by those faces and the visible bottom of the bowls.

  3. Mary (the first) says:

    Did the mind trick work??

  4. Regula E, I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful kittehs, Fritzi and Ella, but it looks like Neema and Jake have done a great job of filling the empty places in your heart. Rescues really are the best, aren’t they?! ❤

  5. These photos are just wonderful! Especially love the awesome bathtub shots of Miss Ella. Thank you for sharing them.

  6. Fill the bowl you shall.

  7. woops, that should have been: fill the bowl with gushie food you shall!

  8. Thanke for the pictures! I Love selfies and cats! The guys trying to use Jedi mind tricks are super cute…..and super fat!

  9. Such wonderful photos but why is Regula E spending time taking photos when there are empty food bowls to fill?? 😀 ❤

  10. From the looks of those kittehs, I’d say the Jedi mind trick usually works quite well. 😀

  11. Those are not the kibbles you’ve been looking for

  12. Our cats were so good at the Jedi mind trick that we invested in automatic feeders. For some reason, the Jedi mind trick doesn’t work on machines… This pair adorable, and I would definitely give in if those faces were looking at me!

  13. OH, and Ella was absolutely lovely! Sorry for your loss of her and Fritzi, but I’m so happy you found Neema and Jake.

  14. AWW 😀 I am so glad to hear that you adopted dear sweet Neema (black and white short-hair) and dear sweet Jake (orange tabby), Regula E 😀 I hope you have many long and happy years with both of them 😀
