Great pix – they look so smiley!

The last one looks like the starting line of a very…slow…race.

  2. You taught it to me too
    Exactly what you do
    Now you love me too

I’m preemptively stopping the nuffers who will point out that not all of these are turtles. Here is a quote taken from their website:
“American Tortoise Rescue (ATR) (www.tortoise.com), a nonprofit organization established in 1990 for the protection of all species of tortoise and turtle, is sponsoring its 14th annual World Turtle Day™ on May 23rd. The day was created as an observance to help people celebrate and protect turtles and tortoises and their disappearing habitats around the world.”

Sorry. Had to do it. The haiku is right, it is for the guys with hard shells, not really just turtles.

  5. Sharp comment
But today is World Turtle Day
So I focus quietly– on my salad.
