Those Two Brothers R Plotting SOMETHING

unnamed (2)“Witness the miracle of three 9 month-old kittens….in the same frame….all six squeelicious eyeballs at the camera! Left to right: brothers Reddington and Cooper, little girl Ella (aka Ella Butt.)

This looked like an old-time portrait, so let’s run it through Picasa™ and give it a little Sepia Action!

One of these things is not like the others.

One of these things could use a sweater.

  2. Brinke, I think you should also run the photo through Waterlogue–that’s a pretty nifty app, btw.

Marmies are always plotting something. I have two littermates in my house, and they’re kind of evil, in a cute way.

  3. dgerish – I agree on the Marmie plotting thing. I was talking with someone who said that there’s something special about Marmies – a friendliness, maybe. I think it’s because orange cats can’t really camouflage themselves and disappear the way a tabbie or a black cat can, and therefore they have to have a personality to walk right up to you and say “Hi”. They have to scheme and plot because you will notice them, therefore they have to plot out all eventualities for being caught.

  4. Janie4, you are so right. One of my boys has a habit of wandering around meowing ALL THE TIME when he’s upstairs among the other kitties (some of whom like to beat him up). I think it’s his way of saying “I’m right here, I’m right here.”

I have two marmies and agree there is something special about them. Of all my kittehs they are the most good natured.

  6. My Marmie is one of the funniest cats I’ve ever had. He is a greeter when he is outside on the front porch. He has to say “hi” to everyone who comes by. He runs meowing and rolls right in front of our visitors. He will also just meow randomly at the top of his lungs when we are in a different room from him. He just wants us to say “hi” to him so he can sit outside the doorway (kind of like “Marco” “Polo”). He also meows for our puppy to come play with him which she does because she’s loves her kitty.

What a great pic! Those hairless cats are starting to really grow on me. Such sweeties!

  8. AWW :D A trio of dear sweet kitties :D

  9. Peanutcat says:

They look like they’re ALL plotting something; the hairless cat just has a better “innocent” expression . . . . .
