Time For Your Usual Boring Lunch? (West Coast Version)

Yesterday we presented some Cute & Stylin’ Foodski from the Big J…just in time for East Coast Lunchtime. Today, the West Coast gets its shot at some tasty Japanese Cute Food, this time c/o Hana from Kawaii Kakkoii Sugoi. “We thought you might like our latest video, a tutorial on how to make Cute Shiba Inu Omurice!”

Not the usual PB&J, guys. “Omurice or omu-rice is an example of Yōshoku consisting of an omelette made with fried rice and usually topped with ketchup.” (Wikipedia.)

Oh, and then there’s always DESSERT!

  1. Rachael says:

I’d probably starve if I lived in Japan, as their food is too creative and beautiful to eat 🙂

  2. gerdiemonster says:

totally agree! i was goign to say, so cute but how can people bring theirselves to eat these adorbs things! white kitten baby! SQUEE!

  3. They serve ketchup with their omlettes? I thought only Pittsburghers did that. People often look at me funny when I ask for ketchup for my eggs.

  4. Ditto what Rachael said XD

  5. I too eat ketchup with my scrambled eggs and am west of Pittsburg. Luckily for me scrambled eggs are not cute as my imagination is too good for cute eating with ketchup. I would take playing with my food to not cute places and play too much to eat. Omitting the sauce on the side, these are adorable. With the sauce, we are talking block buster fictional movie.

  6. Reblogged this on condimentumetlingua and commented:
    I surely like this

  7. VeganDragan says:

Anyone have an idea as to what the bone side dish is made from?

  8. First, they’re too cute to eat, especially the sleeping pupperses. Second, I will NOT eat a green and orange omelet. Just no.

  9. Sharon Wilson says:

You will not eat green and orange eggs and ham? I will not eat them, Sam-I-Am!
