The Return Of Reckless

People, U will not believe this story. U will need the Kleenex.

What if you lose your puppeh in a hurricane…say, like Hurricane Sandy.

U wait 1.5 years and finally decide to get another puppeh. So U go to the shelter.

They bring in the first dog to meet U……..and guess who it is.

From New York Magazine.

  1. Yay for happy endings! Even the puppeh is smilingk… So glad that this family was reunited.

  2. The perfect example of why people should microchip their pets!! This reunion could have happened 1.5 years ago!

  3. WOW! I can only imagine how happy all of you must ‘ve been 🙂 Happy to hear about the happy ending!

  5. Mikeyfur says:

Yes, Jenni…..that says exactly what I logged on to say. Every pet needs to be microchipped. It’s cheap and easy. So glad there was a happy ending.

    So happy for you all!!!

  7. Rachael says:

I’m happy for the hoomins but I am ecstatic for the puppers. He must’ve thought he’d never find his way back to his home and his family. Such a great, great story!

  8. Saffron says:

Some days I wonder why I bother to crawl out of the covers. But on days when you read about such wonderful stories, well those are the good ones! ❤

  9. SlaveToCat says:

    Oh my triplets.

  10. That made me cry a little.

  11. Moonstar says:

Yay for happy endings! As for microchipping, it’s a definite must do, but please make sure the people know that the chips are NOT gps tracking chips! I heard a group of people talking at work and they all thought those chips were GPS tracking chips, and didn’t know the difference between them and RFID’s. I was shocked that they didn’t know.
