“To The Catmobile! Roger, Ready 2 Move Out.”*

“My grandmother has been feeding the neighborhood cats her entire life, and when my mom recently inherited her home she also inherited the pack. I took this picture when I visited last month. They definitely know whose house (and car) it is!” -Laura R.

*60’s Pop Culture reference, kids.

  1. Austin Starr says:

so . . . is your mother feeding the cats? I’m so curious.

  2. AWW 😀 I hope your mom can find loving homes for those dear sweet kitties or adopt them herself if she can, Laura R. 😀

  3. Mikeyfur says:

    It’s a family tradition.

  4. Oh, I remember having paw prints on the windshields of the cars when I was a kid and we had outdoor cats!!

  5. tommygirl says:

Cute, I’d always be checking under my car though before I turned it on…

  6. Yes! My mother feeds them and has set up beds for them all on the back patio. While they’re mostly unfriendly (unless food is involved) we’ve managed to catch most of them and take them to the vet for a check up and to be neutered/spayed. There are a few that will let us pet them and one that even comes inside, but I think they’ll be living their days out chasing mice and doing other wild cat things.

And yes Tommy girl, we always have to check and let the engine run a bit before we move our cars.
