And the Employee-of-the-Month is…

Mr. Overachiever! AGAIN!

“AWWW!!!! A baby goat kid, recovering from listeria…being protected by its “pyr guardian”. MELTS MY HEART.” -From the Facebook page of, Joyful Noise CKC Great Pyrenees!

  1. Mary (the first) says:

I envy that goat. What a cuddle buddy!!

  2. Oh wow, that is some adorable spooningks….

  3. Mrs. Norris says:

Awwwsome! Where do the peeples sit, I wonder?

  4. 260Oakley says:

I pity the fool who tries to get his goat.

  5. sabrina rose says:

I thought for a second it was a white Golden Retriever. I had forgotten about Great Pyrenees. They are such a wonderful breed for people with small kids and a large property (and, Mrs. Norris, it goes without saying that the peeples sits on the floors!!) 🙂

  6. A hug always makes you feel better.

  7. loribelle says:

I love this. Not all Pyrs need a large property–many of them are happy couch potatoes, like my late beloved Molly. You do need an excellent vacuum cleaner and lots of lint rollers, though!

  8. Dog Lover says:

I don’t think it gets any better than this. I am beyond words and nearly weepy at the sweetness.

  9. Never in my life have I wanted to be a goat so badly!

  10. Sharon Wilson says:

And they’re great with human kids, too! 🙂

  11. Goats must smell wonderful to dogs. I’ve seen a couple risk head-butts just so they could get a snarfle.

  12. One of my friends has baby goats and her dog, who just weaned some puppies, actually lets one of the baby goats suckle her. Dogs and goats, who knew???

  13. My friend has a GP (rescue that I helped her get) that watches over her chickens. However, replace the goat with any one of her 4 boys…. 🙂 Oh….those boys suffer sooo……. NOT
