  2. gangewifreweaving says:

augh i totally need more deets on this adorable hedgie mama and her babies! adorable!

  3. Dog Lover says:

They look like they’re made of rubber. Very, very cute rubber. 🙂

  4. Ladies, as painful as birthin’ babies can be, be grateful that babies don’t have spikes!

  5. A friend once said of this picture that the hoglets look like little ambulatory toothbrush heads.

  6. I see the baby hedgies more as fledgling prickly-type-veggies, plucked from the vine too soon. Like very small cucumbers, who have not yet grown into their prickles.

  7. Norbertsmom says:

    OMG – Hedgelets!!

  8. Chihgirl says:

    Poor Mama Hedgie…..OUCHIEEEEE!!!, times six!

  9. I’m gonna guess the spikes are soft when the hedgelets are born. Also: tailios! Tailiocitos?

  10. I swear they look like prickly hair curlers, on the move.

  11. Hmm…like a cross between mini hedgies and caterpillars. (o_o)

  12. Smartypants says:

Like little pill bugs! And yes, their bristles are soft when they’re born and toughen up later – same with porcupines. Thank goodness!

  13. sea urchins with wittle wegs and snoutages.

  14. Superrrr cute!!!!
