Yo, Joey. How YOU Doin’?

Wouldn’t you like to be a Friend to Joey? Adam Cox of Wakaleo Animal Channel sent these photos and video in, and explains, “I recently took a trip to North Queensland, Australia because I heard they had some rare species in care. These are Tree Kangaroo Joeys! These guys are super elusive in the wild and very hard to find anywhere else so I had to go and see them for myself. Their caretaker Margit is an adorable woman who’s passion in life is animals. The 2 animals in the video have had a rough start in life losing their mothers but Margit is intent on getting them healthy and ready for the wild.”

  1. That’s it: I’m packing my bags for Australia!

  2. Birdcage says:

I want a tree kangaroo to hang off my curtain rods!!!!! I lurves them!!!!!

  3. The hover text is always a special part of Cute.Overload, but I’m not seeing it for the largest pictures. Does anyone else see it? What did it say???
Also… the new side-by-side layout destroys the flow of the comments, whether or not you want to reply to a specific person. I also really used the ability to jump from one post to the next with the comments open. Sigh. Maybe it would feel all better if I had a tree kangaroo on my shoulder. In fact, I’m sure it would! P.S. I have 2 shoulders…

Well, ahm, okay, I believe I have now seen everything. Along with the ant-eater meeting the ‘Roo the other day, this is it. As far as I’m concerned, they can close the internet. I also have two shoulders, and a house with curtain poles, so ahm, can I get two of these guys? Please?

  5. Smartypants says:

Kallisto, make sure you have spaghetti too! :-)

  6. I also miss the link to the orignial photo, like it was in the old layout.
That all is a mess and a commercial b…..t. :(
I don´t like the new outfit!!!

  7. Excuse me. Why don’t I have a tree kangaroo joey in my bra?!?!

  8. whatthelump says:

OMG, spaghetti-eating cuter than the Lady and the Tramp’s.
And are her arms alright? Should I be doing that with my kittehs?

  9. Sharon Wilson says:

And you thought kittehs on the curtains were bad…

  10. ‘Roos and racks!

  11. Adorable. Are we sure he’s not part wombat? I see a resemblance.
