Flashback Friday

Ever since wayyy back in 2002, March has been National Adopt-a-Rescued-Guinea-Pig-Month. Here we see how guinea piggehs have been spreading the cute since at least the 1950s.

    That is a ginormous guinea pig! I Love their fur and weird feet and hands and how they kinda look like a small eared rabbit but they have their own look and are a staple of cuteness!

    Adorable! I love old-timey pix of people and their pets. I have a book of tintypes from the 19th century, and one of my faves is a group of household servants with their little dog.

  5. Anybody track down that little girl holding the guinea pig?–as her name tag is easy to read. She might get a kick out of seeing her photo on the inter webs!
