When is a Kitten not a Kitten?

When it’s a baby beaver. It’s true! Bet ya didn’t know that huh? Didja, huh?

This is a kitten.

And in a crazy-cute parallel world, this is also a kitten.

  1. Those kitten eyes are amazing.

  2. Baby foxes, rats, and rabbits can also be called kittens! Go figure.

  3. Dog Lover says:

I can’t believe I’ve lived so long without having seen a bebbeh beaver. My life will never be the same. Between the grabby hands and the smilingk face, I. Am. Ded!! 🙂

  4. I will happily take both, regardless of the species.

  5. Martha in Washington says:

*shyly waving back at babeh beaveh*

  6. rocky griffin says:

The kitten knocked me for a loop and then the BEH…BEH…BEA…VER(coup-de-grace)! I have succumbed to the cuteness and am both DED and more alive!

  7. AWW 😀 I so want to cuddle the dear sweet kitty (the one that will grow up to be a cat) 😀 The beaver kitten is one I hope will be able to go back into the wild 🙂

  8. The beaver!

  9. Tony James says:

    Mmmm – nice beaver. [sorry]

  10. Clairdelune says:

Oh my, I was terrified that the beaver or the guy talking would get hit by a car!! There should be some sort of procedure in place when a scared animal is in the middle of the road, like sending up a flare or something to that effect to make people slow down. Bless whoever took a risk and tried to help.

  11. that kitten (the first one) looks so penitent.
