“This is Trixie, The Puglet. It may be snowing here in New Hampsha, but she’s put on her winter boots and is ready for her walk.” -From Alfonso F.

  1. Mary (the first) says:

Bright red pointy-toed plastic booties?? Seriously? Where will the madness end?!?

  2. Pug Luvah says:

    Are those balloons?

  3. ugiridharaprasad says:

Reblogged this on ugiridharaprasad. REBLOGGED ON NOTHING, YOU MEAN!

Now beat it, shoo, scram, gawwan, get oudda here!

  4. I die where are his coat and hat?

  5. Are these balloons?

  6. Lol… no, those are NOT pointy elf shoes or balloons. They’re Pawz waterproof dog boots. Lot of salt & ice up here!

  7. It takes two of us to get these on our corgi. How many to get them on a pug?

  8. ugiridharaprasad, could you PLEASE stop posting “reblogged this on ugiridharaprasad” on virtually every thread? Reblog if you like, and it’s good you give attribution on your blog, and maybe mention it here once or twice, but the way you’re doing it is just designed to drive traffic to your own blog, and it’s really annoying. Thank you.

  9. Smartypants says:

Well said, Rumi, thank you! …or at least contribute something to the conversation once in a while.

  10. “Mama, y u take pikshure ‘stead of getting leash?”

  11. agreed

  13. Pawz are thicker than regular balloons which wouldn’t survive dog nails very well. They have a balloon-like opening though so you usually need to cut the opening to fit your dog’s ankle right. Our dog had all kinds of trouble walking in dog boots (he’s clumsy), but Paws are like rubber socks! It protects his feet from getting burned by the road salt, but he has a natural footprint and he can grip with his toes like usual.

  14. Pawz are color-coded for size (small breeds get red). Our large-breed dog had to wear… lavender! We called him Twinkle Toes. They’ve since changed them to a more manly deep purple so his dog friends don’t laugh at him anymore.

  15. Thank you 🙂

  16. Smartypants says:

Those booties look awesome! I’ll have to recommend them to my pals who have two Papillons…who aren’t fans of snow!

  17. Smartypants says:

    Yay mods! Thank you.

  18. Hah! Yeah, takes two on an indignant pug as well. But once they’re on, she’s good with them. Kind of makes her sound like a duck when she walks, though… 😉
