  1. That orange cat is a jerk!

  2. Victoria, Mom to 3 Rats says:

Marmie kitty is quite lucky that tubbular kitty seems to be very patient.

  3. Marmie is trying to help tubbular with some weighty issues. I think he’s being very polite and tactful.

  4. Not_That_Steph_The_Other_Steph says:

“No! Did you already forget your resolution? You’re on a diet.”

  5. Trust me, this is all bad for you. It’ll make all your fur drop out. You’ll thank me later.

  6. Looks like it :D The tubbular kitty could of very easily give the marmie kitty a good smacking if he wanted to.

  7. This happens at my house too, although here, things quickly devolve into frantic face-slapping.

  8. Me thinks the marmie kitty was a seagull in his past life. Mine, mine, mine..no, mine too.

  9. I think that I would place the plates farther apart or even in different corners/rooms.

  10. Greedy happy cat

  11. I tawt I taw a pushy-cat…I did, I did! ;-)

  12. I suspect Tubbular waits for Marmie to tire himself out dashing between all the dishes, and then ends up with the lion’s share of the food.

  13. All your food dishes are belong to me.

    Or

    Eat from ALL the plates.

    That is one dominant cat.

  14. My orange cat isn’t called ‘The Appropriator’ for nothing.

  15. The dark tabby isn’t even trying. He’ll wait until the rush is over.

  16. And the bowls are SO full!

  17. Awwww not fair!!!!

I have a ginger queen and she is exactly the same (probably something in the ginger genes), always barging in and pushing the others out of the way, not just when eating but during cuddle time too. Lucky my boys are so patient.

  18. Yep, that’s what I have to do to keep my marmie from doing the same thing. Actually, I feed him on the floor and the tortie on the counter–she’s a better jumper than he is, having the smaller payload. I also give him the can to lick out, to slow him down a bit while his sister finishes hers.

  19. Momtoseven *sigh* says:

This is why I feed cats in the kitchen, on the table in the computer room, in the foyer and our friends bedroom. And sometimes on the futon, when Max is hurting to much to get up and come into the kitchen (and yes, he’s on two pain meds).

  20. “smaller payload” * snort *

  21. AWW :D

  22. That’s one mean marmie!
