And Now, This Important Message

brought to you from Maymo, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture:
Pickles are weird.

  1. Just a little dab behind the ears…

  2. Aw, what a cutie! I wonder what the pickle smells like to him?

  3. kibblenibble says:

I love that we live in a world where people appreciate their silly dogs, and are willing to share that joy with the rest of us.

  4. I was just wondering if Maymo would have been so lovably crazy with different hoomins. Sure am glad they found each other.

  5. kibblenibble says:

dgeriish, that is a good point! Not everyone would think to offer their dog a pickle, or even consider putting one on their floor for the dog to roll on. In any case, I am glad, too. 🙂

  6. humminbirdie says:

  7. Never would have thought of _rolling_ on the pickle, myself…what a unique dog!

  8. Maymo displaying behavior associated with advanced condimentia.

  9. This looks like a dog “rolling in dead” to me. So, so glad it’s not.

  10. WIN!

  11. Niiiiice! 😆

  12. Actually he is trying to put his smell all over the pickle to claim it to the world as his pickle…Dog behavior 101…Next step would be to bury the bury the pickle…

  13. Maymo, you brightened my day significantly.

  14. See, I saw it the other way, I saw it as the pickle luring the dog with its maddeningly aromatic vinegary-ness, and laying very still to coax the dog over and claim it to the world as its dog…pickle behaviour 101. The pickle’s next logical step would be to hide the dog in a lovely brine… 😀

Also, I snorted when I got to your last line; and said: ‘that’s what he said”! 😛

  15. Maymo the epicurious. Piquant aroma, intriguing texture, taste… indescribable and vaguely unpleasant. Must roll on said specimen to improve taste.
