Cute Overload :D
Anywhere. It just comes natur-turtle-ary … …
“This is my cat Simon and my tortoise Lollie. Ever since I got Lollie she and Simon have had a special connection and they always spend time together doing cute things.” -Emily A.
I don’t mean to seem inquisitive, but how do we know that Lollie is a she? o_O
I can’t remember, Theresa, it’s so long since I owned a tortoise, but I think it’s got something to do with the shaping at the rear of the shell….. if you know what I mean *shifty eyes*
I’m sorry, but I just suspect that Simon merely discovered the heat lamp.
I suspect that Lollie would be very uh, snappish if she had a problem with Simon sharing the spotlight.
Same thing with Simon, I bet he would be pretty explicit if he had a problem with Lollie.
I think you’re right, Tim. Still freakin’ adorable though, yeah?
Or Simon just believes that this fat lizard MUST come out of the shell one day. And then … instant cat lunch.
Never thought of turtles and cats together. These two seem to share a special relationship.
Reblogged this on I Kiss My Cat on the Lips and commented:
I have seriously considered getting a heat lamp for my cats, making them a nice bed underneath, etc. They already lie on the arm of the couch under my table lamp, but it really doesn’t put out much heat. And I do leave the heating pad on all winter for them. But I don’t spoil them or anything.
I put a heating pad in their favorite chair covered with a towel folded in half and scrunched up around the edges to form a nest.
Not letting my cat see this. You’re making us all look bad!
If Panther had a spot with a heating pad he’d never come sit on my lap to warm up thus creating the necessary illusion that he just loves to be near me!
Our cat, Dooley, will lay in my brother’s friend, Charlie, after kneading his lap :D
That’s the same reason mine don’t have a heating pad, mindadale! (Well, and the fact that we live in Hawaii…..)
Yeah, I pretty much do the same thing. Except I put a sweater I’ve been wearing on it instead of towels. My cat loves to curl up to my sweaters.
I have cat bed strategically placed by and under the heating vents.
You are SO fortunate to witness and experience this, Emily! Thanks for sharing with us. :)
