Typhoon Haiyan Outreach

The Philippines have been devastated by Typhoon Haiyan. From the Humane Society International site:

“Right now, our animal rescue teams are on the ground in the Philippines, assessing the situation after the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan. Working with local and federal authorities, we will do whatever is necessary to help both people and animals affected by this historic and heartbreaking disaster.”

  1. Awwwwww, blessings to everyone affected.

  2. Reblogged this on Queen of the Wild Frontier.

  3. Also, please check if your employer matches donations…mine does for many organizations, so even more money can go to help our friends and anipals in the Philippines.
    *also sending prayers*

  4. Janet in NYC says:

Hearbreaking! I just made a donation

  5. Clairdelune says:

Awwwww, just the look on that doggeh’s face says it all… time for a donation.

  6. I have family that lives on the Outskirts of Tacloban, they are ok,but please help out if you can somehow. There was a quake this morning 😦

  7. Sad doggy is sad. I’m sponsoring a little girl in the Philippines (she’s okay, thank God), and that’s all I can do at this time. I’m glad there are others who can do more.

  8. Trina, I am so grateful your family is OK. That is excellent news. ❤

  9. Thank you Cute Overload for this! I am from the Philippines, but living in the northern islands (the affected provinces were in central PHL). I’m pretty sure many residents were unable to save their pets and livestock in the mad rush to get to safety. Many were caught unaware by the storm surge. Thank you to the Humane Society for stepping in and looking after the victims’ anipals!

  10. I’ve already donated to Doctors without Borders but this pic is just killing me.

  11. Oh, man 🙂 I am so glad to hear that your family is okay, Trina 🙂

I will have to ask our next-door neighbors about their relatives in the Philippines 😦 I hope they are okay as well 😦

  12. I am so glad to hear that the little girl you are sponsoring is okay, ksheasley 🙂

  13. I heard on CNN that the sad part is, if they had been told the waves would be like a tsunami, everyone would of fled to higher ground immediately, Yael 😥

I hope the Humane Soceity International can help save those poor pets and livestock.
