Tongues: Regulation Disapproval Equipment

Overheard at a store last week from little boy riding on Dad’s shoulders, “Daddy, do bunnies have tongues?” ..beat.. (Dad’s not sure! Customers hold their breath.) …..”Yes, son, bunnies have tongues.” (whew)

These are for you, cute kid (and Dad), wherever you are:

  1. Wahhhhhhhh! *thunk* I die happy!!

  2. Same here, 6rabbits. Medic!!!

I love em all, but that 2nd bun pic, I will be your slave, lil bunlet!!!

  3. Pbfth! [Bunnies making raspberries in our general direction]

  4. lisaLASSIE says:

Did we really have to see pink bunneh tongues????? I guess we did.

  5. Smartypants says:

#3 looks positively approving! He’s def. got a twinkle in his eye.

  6. I have no idea why but I find it disturbing to see a bunny sticking out his tongue. It’s weird don’t mind cat or dog tongues or even horses but there something that just doesn’t look normal to me about it.

  7. I get that..

  8. I have five bunnies that love to stick out their tongues, just not when I have the camera ready. Only one, Hunny Bunny, sometimes has the disapproving look.

  9. :: in a sing-songy voice :: And with those adorabuhl bunny tongues come the bestest bunny kisses in the world!! There’s nothing like bunny kisses!

  10. Catwhisperer says:

  11. Yep – bunny kisses are very soft and very difficult to come by

  12. To be kissed by a bunny is the pinnacle of existence! You have never felt such a soft tongue…

  13. Killer Klown says:

That last one doesn’t look disapproving to me. It looks more… smug.

I got a blankie and youuuu don’t! Pbbbbbt!

  14. The third rabbit is a wild baby bunny we rescued few years ago. He’s been on cuteoverload a few times. There is also cute video of him eating a flower on YouTube. I posted this twice earlier and it didn’t show up. We are Animal Advocates.
