I Seem To Have Lost My Slazenger #5

“I was playing golf with my dad and noticed some serious ‘Pillar action going on underfoot as we approached the 8th hole. I knelt down for a closeup and once he got near to the camera, the little guy busted out a quick dance move.” -Dave K.

  2. Alright, I have to admit that it is kind of cute.

  3. joy raskin says:

Cute woolly bear caterpillar – I see these in the fall but not quite as fast.

  4. He didn’t just step on it did he?!? … !?!

  5. Do they still have the wooly bear festival in Ohio?

  6. Helen Lyman says:

This is a banded wooly bear. Did you move him to safer path? Maybe his feet were hot on the unfriendly concrete.

  7. NC has wooly worm festival to celebrate the coming of winter. Includes wooly worm races… these suckers can really move!

  8. How sweet you took time to notice this furry little guy. I have never seen one move so fast.

  9. I had no idea that could move that fast!

  10. Dog Lover says:

That was my first thought too, that Dave K took the time to notice and record the little furster.

  11. It’s gonna be a cold, long winter, wherever that beastie lives. Check out the wide orange band and get your winter gear in gear.

  12. Smartypants says:

Nope, it’s Ok – something just moved across the shot in the last second.

  13. It’s been a long day – I misread the end of your comment as “get your winter beer in gear” :-|
