Some 2 year olds belong behind bars. ;P

  8. I vote for a “Cute or Sad?” tag. Poor little disappointed bear!

  9. Grinches! How they do this to a little kid…

  10. Reopen the parks and zoos and museums and stop paying the legislators!

  11. AMEN!!!!!

  12. So sad!

  13. Mary (the first) says:

    I second!!

  14. Ya know what also sucks about this? My son’s class has been discussing in generalities about this whole stupid fiasco and he comes home and blurts out, “If no one is that the national zoo, then who is gonna feed the animals?!” I told him it was OK and even went to their website to show him.

I wonder how many other little kids are worried about the same thing and distraught over it? Wonder how many of them think that the animals are starving to death because they don’t even think to ask an adult? THAT’S what’s most sad to me about this pic. Stupid adults…

  15. 260Oakley says:

In aid of keeping the animals fed, I propose we agree to feed one Congressperson a day to all the carnivores until the shutdown has ended.

  16. Done!

  17. But we don’t want to poison the poor, harmless carnivores!

  18. Fast work, Brinke–thanks!

  19. Fantastic idea, Oakley! That should get the politicians to take some action.

  20. :(

  21. Ohhhh, poor little baby :(
