The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

And Mom says, “Honey, I don’t care what they do in the movies, you can’t have a tattoo!”
“This is Larkyn demonstrating the newest trend for fashion-forward nature-gals! A nose lizard!” -Joy

  1. I can just imagine that teeny-tiny lizard whispering reptilian secrets and looking into big human eyes, wondering whether the giant can see him while perched on its nose.
    It’s so cute!!!

  2. Eee, I love lizards. I just tried to photo one in my backyard that was a tiny bit bigger than this one, but he scurried away from me as they are wont to do. I clearly am not a lizard whisperer like Larkyn.

  3. Lisbeth Salamander!

  4. *polite golf clap*

  5. Looks much better than a nose ring or stud, IMHO.

My advice to the lizard whisperer — Don’t sneeze pleeze !!! 😉

  8. Mother of (tiny) dragons ?

  9. “Like”

  10. Awww! I recognized this immediately as a baby Cuban Anole. They’re a not-so-good invasive species here in Florida, but those bebeh lizards sure are cute (not to mention easy to catch).

  11. We are here in Florida! I will have to tell Larkyn about it being a Cuban Anole. We have also found several invasive frog/toad species around here.
