On a previous post with a baby bat, I said I was struggling to see the ‘cute’ part. This video did not help one bit. I’m even more creeped out!
Yipes! This may have set bat rehab back 110 years. I think this one was more creepy than redonk. And I’m a huge bat fan!
I could have done without that sudden closeup of the bat fangs, but otherwise I thought it was pretty cute, and the singing was definitely redonk!
Cool and Creepy all at once. LOL!
BIFF! POW! SQUEEEAK!
Yeah…perhaps not the most flattering bat-closeups ever. But I still love the little guys!
I’ve had the opportunity to rescue two of them (one from a cat, the other from a parking lot where some moving men had accidentally flushed him out) and, if you’ve never actually seen a bat in person, they are much cuter than this clip would lead you to think. More like sweet, fuzzy mice with wings.
(If you’re ever faced with a bat rescue, use gloves or a towel for protection against bat-cooties, and wash your hands afterwards.)
This is soo weird that I loff eet. I ❤ bats!
OK that was weird, funny and a little bit disturbing.
Must watch it again.
I felt like I was watching a bad “swede” of the Dark Krystal.
Beyond awesome!
Holy chiroptera, Batman!!!
Hey, it’s the Jingle Bats! Love the scenes from Batman: The Movie!” 🙂
That reminds me, I did something with pitch shifting bat squeaks, but the purpose there was to eventually use them as a sound effect in a video game.
