I sit here, and I blink. All day. Then I go to sleep. Then I get up, and do it again. Owls. It’s who we are, it’s what we do.

*Blink* *Blink* *Blink*
“HEY! Anybody have some eye drops? What? This is a forest and of course we don’t have them? Oh. OK!”
*Blink* *Blink* *Blink*…
Cute!
Does this owl remind anyone of the way female animals are drawn in old cartoons? You know, how they give the lady animals super long eyelashes so you know they’re ladies!
Sorry if no one knows what I’m talking about, haven’t had my coffee…
I know what you’re talking about, Alissa, and I agree. 🙂
Also, does anyone else find it slightly creepy that the owl isn’t fully blinking? The lids aren’t going all the way down, it’s a half-blink.
Glad I’m not totally crazy, this must be a lady-owl then. Didn’t notice the half blink, maybe *she* is fluttering not blinking, maybe there is a cute boy-owl around?
I think this is the first time I ever noticed that even their eyelids are feathered! Cool…
Oooh, that’s a good guess! I’ll bet you’re right, she’s flirting. 😉
