Cute Overload :D
Those raindrops are fallin’ on my head, they keep fallin’…
“My sister is in Borneo and sent me this picture” reports one Redditer. Lyrics by B.J. Thomas. Suggestion by Smedley.
who left the orangutan out in the rain? I don’t think that I can take it…
Oh noes! Quick, some buddy bring him an umbrella and a cookie!!
I know exactly how you feel, fuzzy buddy. Over here in bad old Germany it rained and rained for days, whole towns and villages were flooded. AND it was cold. Tell me your adress, I’ll send a nice umbrella.
this is really depressing and kind of sums up what’s going on with the orangutans especially when you read what’s going on with the forest clearing. He is gorgeous but the photo makes me sad…
I dunno; I see plenty of trees in the photo.
sorry you didn’t hear from me they locked my out of my yahoo account! I’m think of using my G-Mail account now
What she said.^^
Something that would make this picture cuter is a hoomin wearing bright polka dot boots and holding a matching polka dot umbrella over the poor orangutan.
LOL. The there must be trees all over! haha
Orangs REALLY don’t like to get wet! They build a new nest in the trees daily and it must have a “roof”–they’ve been observed holding large palm-type leaves over their heads to try to keep dry. Sort of ironic if you think about it.
Poor little guy — get that baby a bumbershoot, STAT!
Uh, there are trees all around him. The plight of orangutans is terrible and they need help, but this picture just sums up… a wet ape.
A rainy day in Ankh-Morpork…
Lyrics sung by B.J. Thomas (and later many others). Lyrics written by Hal David.
Cute or sad?
*warbles completely senseless words along with ^oo^, a la Richard Harris*
Kind of sad that poor little bugger isn’t smart enough to go UNDER the bridge or somewhere else with a little protection from the rain. But slightly dense animals are pretty cute! 🙂
Ook! I love the Librarian, Alice Shortcake!
a bit of sad and cute he needs a friend and an umbrella…
Lucky you! I actually went to this reservation in Borneo. This place is very well kept and since it is well hidden, it is not touristic at all. (so sorry, but I’m not going to reveal where this is) The orang utans were rescued orang utans who are released in the wild again after rehab.
When I was there, I woke up super early , because they told me that the orang utans often show up in early morning.
Unfortunately, none of the orang utans showed up….
So lucky you 🙂
