Sometimes, Words Get In The Way

Just a look will do.

#1: “Cinnamon (the dog) and Ava bond over weighing the same.” From Aunt Minoo.
#2 From The Interwebs.

  1. I see BFF’s in the making.

  2. Mamabear says:

    #1 Lovely, bald bebeh alert!

#2 It is freakishly freakish how much that bottom picture looks like a photo I have of my now 11 year old son open mouth kissingk a white boxer. The little outfit, the moon-bald head, white, wrinkly-faced dog, and the lean-in, even.

  3. Rachael says:

I am a huuuuge sucker for pictures or videos of kids and dogs. It’s practically my favorite thing.

  4. My cousin just posted some pics of his 1-year-old daughter and their Golden Retriever. She’s lying on the floor, drinking her bottle, with her feet resting on the dog. They were the best of friends from the day she came home from the hospital. (I would submit them if they were mine to submit because they definitely deserve a spot here. 🙂 )

  5. When I was a toddler in the late 60’s (ahem), my mom and I stayed often with my Grandma while dad was at sea. Grandma had an Irish setter named Clancy. That poor dog–he was good to me. There are pictures in which I am brushing his ears with a comb, brushing his tail, holding on to his tail while we run around the house. I remember he was my best friend.

  6. Irish Setters are the sweetest kindest most gentlest dogs in the world, dumb as bricks, but kind and I say that as someone whose best friend was an Irish Setter from the age of 6 until 24.
