Dogs In Cars: California

We’ve been on the run
Driving in the sun
Looking out for number 1
California here we come
Right back where we started from

And here’s another version that’s not California-centric!

More Keith Hopkin Magic. Lyrics by Phantom Planet.

  1. Sally Leone says:

You did it again Cute Overload! Thanks for these beauties!

  2. rescue gal says:

All of those gorgeous, happy faces and now I am homesick for Cali too.

But all I could think of was that some of those dogs were not proper tethered and that is so dangerous. I can’t help it- that is just how my brain works.

  3. Blue Footed Booby says:

    They need some doggles.

  4. fleurdamour says:

I can hear all of them singing “I Love LA!”

  5. The white dog in the 2nd video looks very much like the Mama doggy from “Puppy Pile”. So sweet!!

  6. It is! 🙂

  7. Michael says:

First, yes, they need to be safely tethered, and it can be bad for their eyes (especially the droopy-eyed breeds like the Saint Bernard I had as a child). But they enjoy it so much! I guess for them it’s like running really fast without having to put in the work. As a child I assumed they enjoyed the sights and the feel of the wind, and they probably do, but with what we know about their sense of smell, can you imagine how much information they are taking in? They know everything that’s made an odor or aroma within miles of the car. It fills up their primary sense (with apologies to John Denver).
