Question Of The Day: Why Is Molly Fat?

As usual, The Cat is behind it all. “Silly hoomins. I feed The Dog more and more- they put her on a diet, and that means there’s more food for me! Mwah ha ha ha ha.”

As seen on Love Meeeee-ow.

  1. It’s a conspiracy! Let’s all fatten Molly up! I did notice the cat had no interest in pushing the much healthier Quaker oats down to Molly.

  2. That was hilarious!

  3. Cats–the definition of determination. They just won’t quit until they succeed (or need to wash).

  4. murkle46 says:

A well co-ordinated dog-cat team is indeed a fearsome sight.

  5. SlaveToCat says:

I wonder what the cat gets in return for feeding Molly.

  6. I notice Molly brings her cookies over to the rug to eat them. My Chi used to bring his food one piece at a time into his bed, “dig” for it for a bit, eat it, then hop out and start over again. (Good thing he didn’t actually sleep in the dog bed since it was always full of crumbs.) I never thought I’d be so entertained just watching a dog eat, but I sat and watched it for a good 15 minutes one day. Hilarious. I wonder if Molly is always so particular.

  7. LOL!!! At first I thought she was dropping them for herself.. But the dog was getting them.. Until that last frame where she drops it twice. Obviously they are best friends.

  8. Obviously Molly is just trying to help her friend the cat burglar by getting rid of the evidence.

  9. Coffee Cup says:

You know what they say…you don’t have to be the fastest guy, you only have to outrun the other guy. Molly is being set up to be the fall guy!

  10. 😆 Yep, that must be it 😆

  11. My bf watched this and told me about a video of a parrot feeding a dog.

  12. I am impressed the cat didn’t just knock the entire jar onto the floor. Also like the pup bringing treats to the rug to eat them, a comfy place to enjoy a treat, my old dog used to scavage things off the kitchen counter (breads, sugar, vegetable oil, tote bags) when he was a pup. These things would be strewn about on the carpet, a comfy place to enjoy a treat, and also on his face

  13. Actually, just knocking stuff off a counter and onto the floor is pretty rewarding to a cat.

  14. My cat Sneakers does the same thing with the dog treat jar…..but he also eats the dog treats as well…..and yes, he frequently drops the jar to the kitchen floor….we have now gone to plastic jars….less messy and safer.

  15. I love the little rust-stain on top of kitty’s head 🙂
