All right, it says here your name is Rupert, very nice to meet you. If you could turn to the left so we could get a profile, please…

No, your left; OK, never mind. Now, in this picture, you’d be playing a character with lots of pent-up anger, seething and boiling within him until he can’t take it and he explodes with rage. So start from page six and let’s see what you can do…

No, that’s kind of a happy look. Show us some anger…

Ah, let’s try something else, forget the script for a minute. You’re poor and hungry, you’ve been waiting in line for hours, and just when you get to the counter, the lady says “sorry, we ran out of soup, come back tomorrow.” Aaaaand, go.

Uhhhmmm… right.

Well, we’ve got your headshot, and we’ll let you know if anything comes up. Next…

Puppers, you can star in MY movie! What a cutiepie.
That is one cute doggie!!
Rupert is adorable, and he’s such a cool color! Almost reminds me of a dilute calico kitty…
yaaayyy eyebrow dots! and flappy ears! and underbite!
YAY RUPERT
and rolls! and extra muzzle mushiness.
tracylee? good eyes!!
On my previous 8000 views of Rupert, I never noticed that FINE specimen of an underbite!!!
NTMTOM…..you crack me up…….and Rupert, you are SO adorables!!!!! You can “audition” for me anytime..*wink*wink*
Eyebrow doooooots!!! Oh, oh and BEEEEP!!
As a side note: What is he/she – this pupper is so stubbular, and so much extra skin it is keeeling me!
Looks like English bulldog. Extra-Smiley variety.
I always love that variety!
Indeed!
I dunno, looks to me like a Staffy. They’re always smiling.
Rupert is really happy and all proud of himself. I wonder what he did.
Surprise in the laundry basket?
Rupert reminds me of the alien “dog” in the movie John Carter. He also has eyebrow dots and looks like a happy, little clown dog. I love him.
Oh YOU’RE the one who saw “John Carter.”
OMG, how stinkin’ adorable! What a SMOOCHABLE snoot!
Also, NTMTOM pastes another one out of the park! Don’t miss the hoovertexts!
haha–’hoovertexts’, cuz teh Qte will suck yer brains out!!! yay, Rupert!!!
Indeed!
I know, blond eyebrow dots are the best, right? And the smiles!!
Eyebrow dots, cheerful smile, flappity ears, chub rolls, tail nubbin — Rupert has good stuff going on EVERYWHERE!
PS: “RUPERT.”
Beautiful dogger!
Awww, he looks so happy, happy, happy, happy, happy and then confuzzled.
Sugitomo, “confuzzled” is now my favorite new word…and it describes little Rupert’s expression in the last picture perfectly!
Hey laaaaaadyyyyy, is Rupert related to Jerry Lewis?
I seem to have fallen hopelessly in loff with him. *thud*
Laaaaaaaaaady with the laaaaaaaaaaaaadle!
Oh, for Pete’s sake. I hope he at least got some soup.
*Waving frantically* Peeps, peeps, there are MO pictures of Rupert! Page says he’s a bulldog. Says “It was very hard to stay focused looking at that face!”

O … M … G …
“The dog has only one look, for Christ’s sake! Blue Steel? Ferrari? Le Derpa? They’re the same face! Doesn’t anybody notice this? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!”
Nice reminder of a beloved movie. Thanks, Thirdshift!
It’s like someone left the happy retriever face out in the sun and it faded and then melted.
Well I believe that’s exactly what happened!
Oh NTMOTM…you haf me in stitches in my office. that hoovertext was the best!!!
And the chubb!!! and the eyebrow dots!!! and the paws!!! I am ded.
applies smelling salts to ded Emmylee — hopes for tha best –
He looks a little like an Old English Bulldog. I had heard they are trying to bring back the old type bulldog because the modern breed has too many health problems with their breathing. Anyway a very good looking happy pup!
Wrinkly puppy, with dots for eyebrows, mugging for the camera?? *sigh*
(Yay, Andrea Arden is a CO fan! Her trainers are awesome!!!)
Bulldog mix, right? Bulldog/beagle, perhaps? Gotta be a mix…
Wotta smile! Rupert is charming! He just has to be on everyone’s bff list. And hecan be in my productions as soon as I write one that someone agrees to back.
File this in “The Check’s in the mail” File ….

That’s ok, FB, I haven’t written the first line of the screenplay yet. Or even the working title.
….however rest assured that the Corporation Believes in you
I wonder if Rupert is related to Ruprecht;

Oh my gosh! Who manufactured this perfection of puppy-ness?
That is one ridiculously adorable dog. So ridiculously adorable, in fact, that the cuteness level is practically lethal.
Absolutely insane, you know, allowing that mug out in public.
Rupert’s a public menace — a menace! I tell you!
Why, there ought to be a law …
Peeps, I have come back about 566895352 times today just to look at Rupert’s smoochable mug.
Me too. We might need to start some kind of support group or 12 step program to end this Rupert-induced madness.
Hello. My name is Smallthunder … and … and I am a Rupert addict.
well SURE I’ll ADMIT to being a Rupert Addict….but y’know that Amy Winehouse song? They wanted me to go to Rehab but I said nyerhe nyerhe nyerhe …
Makes you wonder how Rupert’s hoomans manage to get anything done with that insane qteness staring them in the face.
Theresa, I have come back about that many times and for the same reason! That and NTMTOM’s awesomeness…this post is one of his best! Poor Rupert…he may not be a contender for any acting awards but sure he wins The People’s Choice Award (at least the CO peeps) for Most Adorable Doggie!
also also? Rupert would be an AWESOME cartoon doggeh, No more awesome than the Actual Doggeh, ‘course, but pretty cute, nonetheless …
I have a question for all you brilliant COers. How can I read the hovertext when I’m looking at CO on my Kindle? Please tell me there’s a way — it just feels like I’m only getting half the entertainment without the hovertext!
Regrettably, you probably can’t. Touch devices aren’t designed to display the hovertext (properly known as the “Title” attribute).
There is a technique for reading the hovertext that works on Apple devices; I don’t know if it can be applied to other platforms such as the Kindle. Caution: It’s rather complex to implement, but otherwise harmless. If you want to try it, click here: http://tinyurl.com/779pt2t
Little crooked baby toofers. I love that doggie.
Omg how can he be real
