Empiricle Evidence

Hey! Do we have spots on our bellies?

I don’t know, but I know how to find out. To the couch!

I got spots here!

Me, too. Spots and swats!

“I think you might appreciate the little bellies and brand
new, almost-never-used paw pads and claws of Nanook and Loki, my
adorable kittens…They live in Paris, France (and my name is Camille). And thank you for all the cuteness!”

  1. Oh no – thank YOU, Camille!

  2. Between the spotted tummies and the ear floofs, I’m dyin’ here!

  3. Ils sont tellement mignons à cet âge! Au diable les égratignures, je veux planter mon nez dans ces petits bedons tout chauds!

  4. Umm – yeah! What Gigi said!!

  5. She wants to put her nose somewhere…

  6. Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many spots on a belleh before. Adorable.

  7. I think you mean “empirical.” 🙂

  8. i love how one is short-haired and the other is semi-long-haired. SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. skippymom says:

I’m trying to work out that this spelling has some secret/humorous significance, but so far I’ve come up with nothing.

  10. mauderules says:

She wants to plant her nose in the warm little tummies. And so does any other sensible creature.

  11. they [kittayns] are something/ probably adorable or mischevious — at that age.
Also the place where she wants to put her nose is all warm. Some of the particular nouns, I would hafta look up [NOT in a Funk/ Wagnalls tho; the main dictionaire en Outrageux Frawnsche — at least in an ‘Mericun college of foreign languages — is called Cassells] ….and I’m a Lazy Bum today.

  12. Each belleh spot needs a beep and a kiss. Me first!

  13. Lewis n' Clark says:

hmmmm “Prof. Bleen”…I think that rhymes with “Teho” ….

  14. me doubts it. Mr. Teho is NOT a fan of tha bleen …..

  15. (I almost don’t want to tell you this but unfort., once it loaded, the google translate screen was only a blank one, didn’t have the content/ sentence in it which you had placed. Or was it your intent for me to use it and type everything in?)

  16. mauderules says:

They are so cute at that age. To the devil with scratches, I want to plant my nose in those warm little tummies.

  17. also? EAR FLOOFAGE!!!!

  18. emmberrann says:

Also, she du’nt care about getting scratched, she’s gonna stick her nose into the kitteh belleh any ol’ how.

  19. A+

  20. Well, who can type what with the keyboards conspiring against us and all that cute melting our brains and… and…. so sowwy, ny brainss is dun turneded ato mush…

  21. Mauderules says:

Gigi, I can’t tell you how happy I am that you approved my translation!! I haven’t spoken, let alone wriiten, French since I lived in Strasbourg in — get this– 1981. So I’m pleased with your approval and plan to commemorate it with tarte flambee and coq au riesling at the nearest Alsatian restaurant.

  22. Mauderules says:

Didn’t want to say nothin’ to harsh the [um, what do people say these days?] Bur yeah, I kinda wondered about this, too, but assumed there was some back story that I didn’t know. Maye it’s in the prequel?

  23. The good Prof is unrelated to my imaginary nemesis. Predates it, in fact.

  24. …also, “empirical” is correct. 😉

  25. Hmm, link works in Firefox, but I can see the spacing is all wacky. Anyway according to Google:

“They are so cute at that age! The devil scratches, I want to plant my nose in all these little hot Tummies”

  26. AWW 😀 Which one is Nanook and which one is Loki, Camille 😀 If I could go to Paris, France right now, I would look you up and ask nicely if I could cuddle both of your sweet little kitties 😀

  27. Your Parisian kittehs are parfait, Camille! Belly rubs from me on that very spotty belleh! (If kitteh allows such a thing!)

  28. Okay, I really *really* want to snorgle dem bellehs, but, unfortunately, there are some *ahem* rather SHARP clawsies there…

  29. Nanook is the semi-long haired kitty because he looks like an Eskimo, and Loki the short haired grey one (although we thought calling him Raptor because of his character !)
And you’re welcome to visit them if you come to Paris some day… 🙂

  30. Could you make us hear the sound of the grey one ?
