  2. SlaveToCat says:

Could be a satalite image Sponge Bob’s neighborhood. Or something Compound W might have a difficult time clearing up. Interesting still life in any event.

  3. Brinke: that’s my favourite haiku so far. Nicely done to honour teeny tiny treasures.

  4. I agree, totally a winner.

  5. princess guinea and ariel says:

those would be great for my guinea pig!!

  6. if you put your ear
up to the tiny conch shell
    do you hear the sea?

  7. This is a strangely beautiful post. Such delicate little creatures.

  8. From Sandy Bottoms?
    Where is Spongebob and Patrick?
    Oh, under my foot.

  9. sabrina rose says:

They are utterly amazing. A fantastic image!

  10. My husband has a 300 gallon reef system in the dining room, we swap out the crushed coral at times (for maintaining pH) and find many species of tiny snails living and reproducing in there. Some adult snails in our tank are only 2 mm across. Awesome picture.

  12. Absolutely delightful… unless those are normal-sized sea beasties being held by someone with MASSIVE FINGERS. That would be scary and eek.

  13. tommygirl says:

  14. Wow, those are really tiny.

  15. JustAnotherHeather says:

I don’t know about the tiny spiral shell, but the others look like star sand. Apparently there are beaches in Japan where it’s nothing but star sand. I want to go there!
