I have f’warded good encouragement des CO peeps to her Dorkiness and she was indeed encouraged. The proverbial Fat Lady of Opera fame has not yet sung but QoD updated me in an email that she sent sometime ca midnight-ish west coast time but I wasn’t sitting watching my emails at that hour so I saw it this morning 7-ish east coast time. She’s still navigating Doctors and Hospitals and labcoats, oh my, today; she did take a day off CubicleLand to pursue Betterness.

Having stopped squeeing, I will note that baby bunnies are delicate and hard to raise, and often don’t need to be raised anyway– mom leaves them alone in the nest for hours at a time, so they may not need help. And cow’s milk will probably make them very sick. So if you think help is needed, please check a licensed wildlife rehabilitator’s site first.
Cow’s milk is not rich enough for them. I was blessed with a litter of 10 babies last spring by some well meaning people. They thought they could raise them until they read how hard it is. When they turned them over to me, I advised that probably none of the babies would survive. I was slightly wrong and now have two bouncing baby boy cottontails that did survive. Unfortunately they are too friendly towards people, at least towards me, and they are not afraid of dogs so they will be living out their lives with me. You should always leave them unless you are absoutly sure the mother is out of the picture. They are hard to hand raise.

My brother found baby bunnehs in his yard a few years ago. He took pictures and then left them alone. (Mom came back a little later.)

When my mom was gardening she found a nest of baby bunnies and they were adorable! We left them alone and for a couple of weeks they stayed there with the mom coming back to feed them and then one day she took them out of the nest and they moved on! The were the cutest things ever!
The side-to-side tongue action is just the cherry on the top.
I ate his ears, I couldn’t help it!
