They Call Me Doctor Lovebird

After a long day of working with clients at his office, all Doctor Lovebird wanted

was to put his feet up

and a little liquid refreshment, Love Potion #9.

and his nap time.

Then it’s back to work because in this world, Dr. Lovebird’s work is never finished.

This is Karin O.’s lovebird, named Lovebird. What the world needs now is Lovebird, sweet Lovebird.

  1. GAAAAAAHHHHH! *thunk*

  2. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love C.O.

  3. The little eyelids just keel me! [plink plink]

  4. Omg he looks sooo velvety. Look at the wee little button eyes!!!!

  5. Oh mah gosh….

  6. seconded

  7. and that shell-pink beak curved down so low…

  8. inkerbelle says:

Yes, indeed. I think we need to have more CO visits from Lovebird.

  9. Such a beautiful, sweet little guy. I bet he’s a joy to have around.

  10. Uh oh. Doctor Lovebird will need to listen to your heart. Doctor’s orders!

  11. What kind of lovebird is he? There are a skedillion kinds!

  12. I just looked at pictures of all the different kinds and couldn’t make a match, so I am going to suggest that he is a Tropical Sherbet Surprise Lovebird.

  13. HOLY CRAP, what happened to the lamp!? It must be Dr. Lovebird’s doing. I would not have even noticed if not for the hover text, which had me LOLing. Yes, Lamp definitely needs a double. Ha ha ha

  14. skippymom says:

OK, I was going to be polite and not say anything, but yeah, what the hell happened to it?

  15. Sufferin’ succotash! Tropical Sherbet Surprise Lovebird sounds delishusss!
    Signed: Sylvester

  16. I thing Doctor Lovebird happened to it 😆

  17. He is a very pretty bird.

  18. Oooh, he’s so purdy. He reminds me of one of those rainbow colored and flavored shaved ices.

  19. victoreia says:

    Shouldn’t that be “Thilvethter”?

  20. fleurdamour says:

Dr. Lovebird approves of same-sex marriage.

  21. I just love to watch birds sleep, one foot tucked away inside the feathers. My parakeets, Yuki and Broly, make adorable, contented chirpy sounds as they snooze ❤

  22. Wouldn’t dis be more appropriate for February?

  23. Hm, turns out he’s probably a Lutino variation Peach-faced Lovebird, but I’m going with Tropical Sherbet Surprise Lovebird. 😀

  24. emmberrann says:

    Is that Febirdary?

  25. “Thenk kew.”

(Said in the voice of the lovebird from the catfood commercial: Attention kittykats! No. More. Birds.)

  26. D’awwwww!!!

  27. Yep. that’s my new favorite flavour…I mean breed, yeah, breed.
    *shifty eyes*

  28. And then, when they switch feet, the one that was all tucked up is so toasty warm. 🙂 I miss snoozing with my birds.

  29. Iz a skedillion more than elebenty??

  30. Why is this Bird Doctor reminding me of thees??
Perhaps, b’cuz he has so many groupies or fans….

  31. Sweet….is there a Mrs Lovebird to keep him company?

  32. Refer to the Queen of Dork for “Oodles and oodles of skaboodles.”

  33. Lovebird may have a team of consultants, like Marnie (“Wheeee! You’re so cute!”)

  34. Not yet, but I’ve set up a (permanent) playdate for him next wednesday <3.

  35. Indeed he did. It’s brilliant! He’s redecorating my entire house.

  36. *raises one eyebrow, Spock-like*

    “AAAaaaahhhhh. So???”
