Mags Z. sent us this bootaful story via  The Telegraph of Maisie the Goat at Maria’s Animal Shelter in Probus, Cornwall. Maisie suffers from arthritis and has to wear wellington boots to help her condition. Recent downpours have left 12-year-old Maisie constantly squelching around in puddles and mud. So her keepers have provided pink wellies to protect her from foot rot – the animal equivalent of trench foot.

we’re going to have a wellies tag pretty soon. Remember that piglet who didn’t like to get her feet muddy?

That was the cutest thing, except maybe that farmer who got a little life preserver for the runt of a litter so piggy could float in a tub of warm water. I loved how piggy was like “oh god help I’m dyi-wait, this is kinda nice.” :3

Don’t try on a centipede? I’ve been looking for a 2013 project. Challenge accepted. :)

Funny how the non-humorous-animal-activist-side of my brain grimaces, but in an instant the Qte-side of my brain overflows it with “squeeeeeeee!” I mean, you can SEE she’s smiling! And her perky lil tail is just about to wagwagwag!

Hope you tiny hoofies get better soon, love!
