I would love to know why Hedgies are so fascinated by paper tubes…..
Anybody out there have an explanation for this (or will I have yet another reason to stay awake at night and ponder???)….:

Seriously (is that allowed here?) I think that hedgies stick their faces into all those cardboard tubes etc. because many hedgehogs live in burrows and they are checking those spaces out to see if they would make good homes.
Poor Dexter. I’ve never owned a hedgie, but they seem like so much fun!

I used to have a hedgie named Dexter too! I didn’t realize it was such a popular hedgie name.
