Sadly, kids don’t do that anymore. I think I’m going to teach mine the clap games, (Including Miss Lucy had a steamboat, the steamboat had a bell) even though she is 17. I think I’ll make it a new rule where it’s mandatory to know these songs and how to do the claps.
I don’t know why I haven’t done this yet.
Actually, I think the clapping games are trying to make a comeback. On a recent bus trip my fourth grade girls were doing clapping games and were astonished when I could join in with claps and rhymes!
I was just singing Miss Mary Mack the other day! I’m so glad to hear that these games are making a comeback.

There is a horror movie about killer bunnies! It’s called “Night of the Lepus”. It’s supposed to be really terrible!
It is really terrible, in that good kind of way! It’s got Rory Calhoun and mutant bunnies hopping through model railroad towns, peering in the windows with their nuclear cuteness.
