We’ve just introduced the new cat Boo (male) to the other cats in the house (3 females and one male) they are all about 5 years old.
It’s been 40 minutes and no fights!!
The only one who reacted was Penny, she hissed at him and ran away but that pretty much what she’s been doing for the last 3 years with the other cats but Boo didn’t react and did not chase her! I am VERRY HAPPY!!!!

Congrats, Gigi! It is nerve-wracking to introduce new pets into your home when all that you want is for everyone to be happy and get along. Happy day!

That is awesome, Gigi! And thanks for the update. You did it exactly right, keeping them separated for some time, so that they could get used to the idea (and scents etc) of each other. Of course, all cats being different, that is not always a guarantee…
