Around here the trees were falling on the leaves.
Have just been catching up on CO goodness; we
just got internet back up, and power two days ago,
thank goodness. Got pretty medieval around
these here parts (North central Jersey), but we
do still have our house, unlike rhose poor folks
at the Shore. I want to hug this puppeh so much!

The Salvation Army and Red Cross
could use donations, as well as food
banks anywhere in the affected areas.
There are still people without power,
hence no heat. We have linemen from
Louisiana and Arkansas here in our
town, who are discovering that
Nawtherners are a lot nicer than
they were warned, getting coffee,
bagels and buns from appreciative
locals. Still far from over.
